Hey everybody!
Just wanted to write a little something to wish you all a most wonderful holiday season! May you all have a merry, merry Christmas and get lots of presents from Santa and love from your beloveds - and to those who feel it, let's throw a great b-day party for Christ! - and I hope that the year to come brings you the best! God knows this year was quite chaotic for us (will tell you about it on another journal soon), so I'm very much looking forwards to a fresh new year, with many possibilities!
How do you celebrate this holiday? Do you have any particular tradition? In Argentina, family and friends gather on the evening of the 24th to have dinner and wait until it's midnight and officially the 25th; that's when we all toast and wish everybody the best, we exchange presents and watch/throw fireworks the second the clock reached 00:00, the same goes for new year's eve > u < And I've come to learn that there's a very much different tradition here in Catalunya (Spain) which does not include Santa: the tradition consists in "feeding" a log that has a face and legs prior to Christmas, and when it comes, the kids beat the shit out of that log, which then it poops the presents for them under a blanket x'D (I laugh my ass off every time I think about it, not to be disrespectful at all... but it's so weird! xD). So this indeed makes me wonder about the different traditions around the world! O u O Share one if you have it!
Have the best time guys! Lots of luv and kisses from meh!

Let's talk about Zelda, Breath of the Wild :D
it's me... I'm not dead! :dummy:
It’s been a year since the game’s release, so, for it’s anniversary, I thought I’d do what I used to do every time a new Zelda game came out; give my personal opinion of it in a journal :D It’s also a way to let you know I’m alive and with no intention of leaving DA, but still on hiatus because of my health (quick update: nothing changed).
There will be spoilers! You’ve been warned ^^
Breath of the Wild gave me quite the ride. As we all know by now, it is nothing like the previous Zelda games: no green tunic and pointy hat (until you complete all shrines and by the
B-day thanks + Update (updated to crap I'm scared)
Hey guys ^^
I didn't think I'd be making an update so soon, and since it's so recent I felt lazy about making a new entry, and well... I've got more news to share on the health thingy, but before I do, I wanna say that I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and wish you all a most happy new year; let's hope 2017 isn't as much of a bastard like 2016 was...
So... Saw my doc yesterday, and the previously "unknown rheumatic autoimmune disease" has evolved into lupus. This solves and ties up all of the other issues I've been having- the anemia, the digestive problems, etc; they are all a result of the inflammation caused by this disease... AND
Update time
Hey guys! How are ya? ~Letmehugyouplz (https://www.deviantart.com/letmehugyouplz)
Time for a little, quick update:
Last time, I told you about another disease I got diagnosed; a rheumatic auto immune disease. I already gave a try to a treatment for six months and didn't work at all, now my doc set me for another one and I'm waiting to see some conclusive results... I'm just gonna say it as it is: I'm in psychical hell and completely burned out. The little progress I had managed to do, getting active again and exercising, went all backwards, because as I waited to see some results on the treatments, I slowly but surely began to get worse on the symptoms of this disease (the fibro i
Thank you! ^^
Hey guys! ~dragonglomp (https://www.deviantart.com/dragonglomp)
I just wanted to drop by to thank you for the birthday wishes! I had a nice, quiet day at home resting (my body decided to act up with a weird period), and got food pampered by my hubby :dummy:
So now I'm 31! Gawd... I'm old xD

Xmas here in Norway is more about family and food, than anything else. Also, the Yule traditions that started long before Xmas came into existence started out as a way to deal with the darkest time of year around here, which is the winter soltice, where we put up lots of light to bring cheer that'll get us through the dark and the cold, so Xmas has more or less become a sort of festival of lights. Here in Norway - and Scandinavia in general - we celebrate the 24th of December (Xmas Eve) as the main day where we have the big feast and open all the presents. :3 And between Xmas eve and New Years eve, we have the middle Xmas days were we have lots of food and spend time with our friends and families.
I hope you've had a great time so far, and I wish you a fantastic holiday celebration onwards, and, when the time comes, a happy new year! Love you loads, my darling~
