Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

ZELDA IS BEING RIPPED OFF!!!

Yep, as the title says, ZELDA IS BEING RIPPED OFF BY THE MOST UNCREATIVE COMPANY IN THE WORLD ALREADY KNOWN FOR DOING THIS: GAMELOFT. Now, I've posted this in my facebook account, facebook fan page and now I'm doing it here. See the trailer of their "new adventure" and the tell me what you think:

The minute I saw this, I swear, I felt so pissed off I couldn't control myself, I went into Gameloft page and You Tube channel and gave a piece of my mind as well as in the trailer which everyone seems to be doing so, and then I went to Nintendo's page and wrote a mail with the link to the video and telling what I think, and to my surprise I got a reply right away which wasn't an automated message:

‎"Thank you for taking the time to write to us with your feedback regarding this trailer. I can certainly understand your thoughts on this matter and want you to know how much we appreciate you sending them in. I also want to assure you that your comments will be added to our records and made available for other departments at the company to use as they see fit."

I wrote to them with hopes that something can be done to stop fucking Gameloft from doing this, call me crazy, but I think if everyone who cares about this writes to Nintendo about this matter, they will do something to take care of one of their most famous and precious franchise, so I encourage every true Zelda fan to do so, this is where I wrote to them: [link]

So now I assume you've seen the trailer so I'm going to talk about it:
Really? A talking tree... Deku Tree anybody? Character riding a horse... hmmmm Epona's fail copy? The text through the trailer is like a copy-paste from the ones from Zelda, like TP and OoT and ARRRRGGG!!! They even used the sword sound at the end of the trailer!!! The whole atmosphere is exactly like Zelda's, dungeons to solve, land to know, light vs darkness... COME ON GAMELOFT CAN'T YOU BE ORIGINAL FOR ONCE???

I don't want to keep going... otherwise I'll never end, please! Do something like I did! It might be little, but a bunch of little things can accomplish big things, this abomination must not go out!!

Well I do see where your coming from with the "Zelda" copies, I have to say when I saw the trailer the first thing that popped into my head was W.o.W. Not Zelda :/ The next thing was FF Zelda I have to say was the last thing >>" And I LOVE that series D:

I don't want to have a fight about this, I'm just saying what I saw/felt about it :/ I don't think anybody is wrong about anything I just tend to pic the middle when it comes to sides >>"

It's not like I can get this game anyway i'm too poor and I don't even have a smart phone :/

No, this game, better said, trailer, is making a lot of people believe it's AN ACTUAL ZELDA GAME that Gameloft is doing for the IPhone, they're tricking the users into believing they are gonna get something amazing when they are gonna get shit in return.
This is NOT the first time this company does that, Gameloft has ripped off too many games, but never one as big as Zelda.

If it doesn't have ZELDA in the title, then you'd honestly have to be kinda stupid to think that it's a zelda game.
It's like, either:
A) You know about the zelda games, and then you'd be able to tell that it's not a zelda game if you were a fan, or from the lack of ZELDA in the title
or
B) You don't know about the zelda games, and then you don't have anything to compare it to, and thus you can't be tricked into thinking it's part of a series you don't know about

It's simple as that, really. And if hyping up things to be AMAZING and then ending up getting people disappointed was illegal, then you'd see a LOT of game developers in jail :P

A talking tree giving the hero a green glowy item felt VERY ocarina-of-time-like, but asides from that, then eehhh, overreacting a bit there I'd say. As many people have stated already, horses and talking trees have been done in so many other games, so it's not really all that special. And there are only so many ways that a sword can sound like :P

Also, not mentioning the FLYING SHIP, conveniently ignoring the ORIGINAL parts of the trailer, making it sound like it was non-stop ripoff-moments too? A bit biased, eh? Shame on you =P

Shame on me? Carajo shame on you! Yes, the talking tree and horses bla bla bla, as I questioned, name one game that has ALL those elements together: talking tree, hero saving the kingom, dungeons, light vs darkness, hero riding a horse, all of this being played in third person like in Zelda. Flying ship? Not original: FINAL FANTASY.
