The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Design Contest WIN 4000 POINTS, 20$ AND MORE!I've wanted to hold a design contest for a long time now, and finally I've gathered enough points to do it :D

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)
-I like more natural base colors, but with smaller markings in unnatural colors like blue or red
-Long tails, big/long
Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you  finally  made  the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq  to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean  more quality to the paintings, am i right?. 
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only  to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

I went youtube-crazy in search for videos of the Fire Emblem for the Wii... my new love for Nintendo :heart: _ :heart: and I just can't control myself!!! Is too good to be trueeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ike is baaaaack!!! *he's so big and manly!!!* With Soren and Oscar, Tinania and my cutie Rolf!!! :faint: just take a look at this!! [link] but I wish I knew what the game's about TT-TT why are they laguz fighting against humans?!?!?!! Ranulf...TT-TT Tibarn against that hot general from begnion.... whyyy? [link] and [link] and who are those two at the end of that video...? The guy looks just like Sothe :heart: I like him :heart: anyway here's a trailer of those two [link] and it looks just amazing!!! Ahhh and while I was searching those videos I found by chance one of Tales of Symphonia!! Niaaaaajajajajaja oh dear God I can't tell you how much I laughed when I saw this!! Ah! And I finally found the time to go into the cave of ordeals in Zelda TP, and oh God how beautiful is that Great Fairy!!!! :heart: it is by far the most beautiful of all!! Damn Nintendo guys for making her appear in that stage of the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :shakefist: I mean.... you can go through that cave almost in the end!!! Why would they put  her there?!?!?! That's another thing I didn't like.... the lack of great fairies all over Hyrule :sniff: I just love them... and she's so sweet... I loved it when you complete the cave and then when you meet her after that how she goes near Link and puts her hand on his cheek ....eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! I loved it!! :faint:

hmm maybe ill check out the new fire emblem game...i havent heard much about it, but it sounds like a pretty cool game!

i totally agree with you that there was a lacking of faries in twilight princess. i also think the fairy in TP was beautiful, she didnt look like a hooker! XD

Really? O_O oki then! I'll tell you! Warp to the Gerudo Desert and next to where you warp there's the entrance to the cave, it is where the broken part of the Eldin bridge used to be, that is if you warp it right back where it belongs :nod: go in and give it a try! Tell me later how it goes :D

Well, I FINALLY got a chance to check out this Cave of Ordeals thing. It's fun, but it's pretty tough. I only made it past the fourth fairy. It could be a while before I can try again. How many fairies are there?

Anyway, thanks for bringing it to my attention. :)

Great! It's actually the same fairy always, who shows up every ten floors; there are fifty floors in total.
I made it through in the first time, luckily because I would've gone crazy going through everything again XDDD If you're going to give it a shot again I recommend getting fully equiped with bombs arrows and all the blue and red potions you can... the last floor is the hardest of all :faint:

Great. I actually only have one bottle. I had to rush through the entire game because I really don't have time to explore properly, so I guess my inventory is pretty lean. Just the bare-bones requirements. But I'll try my best. Kudos on making it your first try.
