Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:
Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang. :D
The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

What do I need to get for the Wii in order the play it perfectly? You know... memory card and that stuff ^^; I ask because it's time for me to think about everything I need for it! My uncle will come to Argentina in June and he's going to bring it for me, along with everything it needs and any game I ask for *Zelda Twilight Princess of course* :dance: I ask you my friends because I don't have the time these days to go Wii-searching for every not included item I may need! *college college* I don't even know if the Wii uses a memory card :faint: so I trust you will tell me? :3
By the way, I also don't have a clue about the Smash Bros. for the Wii... when will it come out? I'm also waiting for the new Fire Emblem for the Wii... Gaaaaa :cries: I feel so stupid not knowing these things :cries: I used to know everything but now because of college I can't go to search info in the web to my heart's content :sniff:

I recomend the Sonic: Ruler of the Rings game... very nice, along with Zelda (but you knew that!).

Super Smash Bros. Brawl doesn't have a confirmed release date by Nintendo, but its expected to be out around November.

i honestly have no idea about the memory card or super smash bros brawl...but i will ask you three questions! =D

1. have you ever had a dream that hyrule was real and you were living in it?

2. what is the dumbest thing you have ever done?

3. if you were to dye your hair a color that was unnatural, what color would it be?

1) Hmmmm... I've never dreamt about Hyrule being real and me being in it, but I did had a lot of Zelda dreams :XD:

2) Hmmm.... the dumbest thing I've ever done... scream all over the 9th floor of the university because there was a bat on the loose jajaja :rofl: I hate bats TT_TT

3) I actually did color my hair once, it was bright red O_O red red reeeeed :heart: I loved it but I had to dye it every month >.< it was too expensive and damaging to my hair ^^;

The memory holds quite a bit of storage I think. If you want you can get these things you put on the Wii-Remote, I think it's rubber-y. Thet come in a few colors too. You don't NEED one but they look nice to have. (I don't have one so I wouldn't know.)
