Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.

Music Is My Inspiration ContestWell guys I've decided to start my own contest, because I had awesome feedback on the idea ^_^
It'll be my first contest that I've held...EVER! So it's very exciting :3

Holaaaa everyone!! So as the title says, I'm back! After a month and a half spent in San Diego I'm back again in Argentina... waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh I wanna go back to San Diegooooo!!

I had THE BEST time over there, all I did was relax and have a good time! I went to Disneyland and California Adventure and did some serious stalking on Goofy XD (I FRICKIN' LOVE GOOFY ASDFGHJ), I went to the amazing San Diego Zoo (so big! *O*), visited San Diego's Oldtown, the Embarcadero and the cool ships in it, there was a Russian submarine *O* it was just plain amazing

I went to eat to many great places (hmmmmm fooooood...), I ate so many pepperoni pizza and cheetos that I turned orange XD and enjoyed my beloved uncle's company to the best... I love him so much!!
I got to know the amazing

!! She's so cool! I had a great time with her!! We'll be seeing each other again girl!!

And some good news! I got some serious relief on my back and neck pains over there so I got to do some sketches!

I'm so happy! X3 I will post them as soon as I get my scan working again :3 you'll be seeing sketches of the Great Fairy from TP and lttp, Martha from LA, Rapunzel, Ariel, and some more

let's just hope my pain doesn't come back any time soon so I can finish them and continue doing some more!!
Of course as you can imagine, going to San Diego meant BUYING VIDEO GAMES!!

I bought Final Fantasy, Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers and Green Day Rock Band for the Wii ASDFGHJK SO FRICKIN' AWESOME!!! F*CKING AAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! XDDDDDDD Also I got and extra Wii Remote and Nunchuck and Motion Plus for both of them, I got Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon for the DS and the best of all... I PRE-ORDERED A COPY OF THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: SKYWARD SWORD!!

I didn't know I could already pre-order it and I was just going to ask if there was a chance of doing it and when I entered the store (Gamestop)... there it was!! A whole section filled with Wii boxes with Link's art of the game and a big "PRE-ORDER NOW!!"

I went crazy and of course I pre-ordered it

they told me that the release date was April 2nd!

but as we talked with

maybe that won't be the actual release date... but who cares!!! My copy is now assured!!! Go get yours if you haven't!! They told me that if any special edition came out with the game you can get it by pre-ordering (as they did with other Zelda games)

So, in a nut shell, that's it! Now that I'm back, college and job hunting it is!

I'm glad you're back and had a good time in California. Disneyland and the San Diego Zoo are such neat attractions. Glad you got all your video games.
